If you are considering accelerated learning, you need to know first you’re your learning personality is. There are eight learning styles but the most common would have to be visual learners.
Everything that we sense around us will have an “imprint” in our brain. Most often than not, these imprints are the things that we see. When we visualize something, it can make or break our ability for accelerated learning.
The images that we literally see or the things that we visualize can greatly influence our learning abilities- and the rate as to which we can achieve accelerated learning.
Most people underestimate the power of learning in a relaxed environment. Imagine this, at which place would you rather stay for your accelerated learning classes: a room with relaxing music and apt ventilation and writing or a house that has been torn down by a tornado?
When we see these two images, one invokes peace, love and uplifting states of mind. The other invokes downward stressful feelings. Science shows we learn better when we feel at peace.
So if you want to learn about accelerated learning even more, you need to do as much as you can to visually stimulate your brain. If you want to get as much results as you want, you need to create an environment where you can feel peace, love and harmony.
You should also make a neat and tidy room for your lessons because it can help a lot in improving your concentration and sharpening your focus. And if you are one who is in tuned with technology a tad bit too much, you should remember that having some movies or games running in your background (or worse, in your computer!) will really pose as a big problem for you.
As a visual learner, you are more prone to get distracted because your peripheral vision is much more alert. If you want to really learn accelerated learning, you should eliminate as much distractions as possible.
Of course, eliminating technology (just for a few hours, don’t worry!) will be hard. It’s difficult to keep all these mental distractions out but it can be done in two ways:
First of all, don’t watch TV. If you do, try limiting your viewing to uplifting, positive topics – those related to your highest aspirations and goals.
Next, learn how to release those subconscious images and emotions projected by the negative imagery through TV. Meditation is an excellent way to do this and it helps you focus and become aligned with your higher mind, which is where your true genius dwells!
