Accelerated learning is a term that encompasses a broad and diverse collection of techniques, methods and approaches to learning. This would include speed reading, mind mapping and brain exercises.
It does sound very complicated and well, it actually is.
But accelerated learning can be broken down to its most basic sense and definition.
Accelerated training, simply put, is a learning style that enables a person to find, process and remember information so much quicker than normal.
As mentioned earlier, it is a collection of techniques that would make a person learn more effectively.
We’ve all been used to the notion that learning or studying is a dreadful act. It’s not something that we really looked forward to doing so when we were in school.
But times have changed and for the better too.
Learning can now be done with a lot of fun and faster.
Accelerated learning is really a combination of the already established theories about learning and new scientific discoveries about the human brain and how it works,
Now, although it sounds totally technical, accelerated learning is more than just science and theories. It is an intensive method of studying that would also make use of many different factors.
To make the most out of accelerated training, we also need to put our environment, emotions and interests at play. These factors, when modified to fit our needs better, would work wonders in ensuring that we get the most out of our accelerated learning experience.
More than anything, accelerated learning teaches us that we can have fun while learning. And that the best way for us to get more out of our professional and personal lives is to equip ourselves with the right set of knowledge and skills- things that we can discover through accelerated learning.
